Atlantic View Farm Dog Walking Field

General Use

  • By booking a session, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

  • The field is for private, exclusive use during your booked time slot only.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.

Booking Details

  • Each session lasts 25 or 55 minutes, with a 5-minute changeover period at the end of the session.

  • Please arrive and leave within your allocated time to avoid overlap with other users.

  • Standard slots can be used for up to 4 dogs.

  • Additional dogs can be added at extra cost.

  • Professional dog walkers are welcome to use the field so long as adhering to the booking details.

Access & Security

  • Access instructions and the gate code will be provided in your booking reminder email 8 hours before your booked slot.

  • You will receive the gate code via text message 8 hours before your booked slot.

  • Do not share the gate code with anyone outside your booking group.

  • Ensure the gate is fully closed and locked behind you on entering and leaving the field.

  • On leaving please reset the padlock to 0000

Dog Safety & Behaviour

  • Dogs must be supervised at all times and never be left unattended in the field.

  • You are responsible for the behaviour and actions of your dogs at all times.

  • Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations and not show signs of illness.

  • Please ensure dogs do not disturb any neighbouring livestock.

Waste & Cleanliness

  • All dog waste must be bagged and placed in the bins provided.

  • Please remove all toys, treats, and personal items before leaving.

Parking & Site Access

  • Parking is available on-site. Vehicles and personal belongings are left at your own risk.

  • Please drive slowly and respectfully on approach to and leaving the field, noting the 20mph speed limits.

Children

  • Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times.

  • Please do not let children climb on the dogs play equipment.

Weather & Field Conditions

  • The field remains open in most weather conditions.

  • In extreme weather or unsafe conditions, Atlantic View Farm Dog Walking Field reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings. In this event we will give as much notice as possible.

  • The field may be uneven and muddy in areas, Atlantic View Farm Dog Walking Field cannot be held responsible for injuries.

  • Whilst every effort has been made to make the field secure, Atlantic View Farm cannot be held responsible for escaped dogs.

  • We recommend checking the field prior to releasing your dog off the lead to check the suitability of the field to your individual dog’s needs.

  • Please report any issues to us as soon as possible.

  • Please discourage your dog from digging the field, there is a sand pit for your dog to enjoy.

  • Should we need to close for maintenance, any cancelled or amended slots will not be subject to the cancellation fee.

Cancellations & Amendments

  • Bookings can be cancelled or amended up to 24 hours before your session.

  • Cancellations will be subject to a 50p administration charge

  • Refunds or credits are not available for late arrivals, no shows, or unused time.

Liability

  • Use of the field is entirely at your own risk.

  • Atlantic View Farm Dog Walking Field accepts no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage to dogs, owners, vehicles, or personal property.

  • You may be held liable for any damage caused by your dog to fencing, equipment, or facilities.

  • Atlantic View Farm Dog Walking Field holds full public liability insurance.

Health & Biosecurity

  • Dogs with contagious illnesses (e.g., kennel cough, vomiting, diarrhoea) must not attend.

  • Please report any hazards, damage, or concerns immediately.

Prohibited Activities

  • No smoking, vaping, fires, or barbecues.

  • No climbing on gates, fences, or structures.

Respect for Neighbours & Wildlife

  • Please keep noise to a reasonable level.

  • Please respect any wildlife

Dangerous Dogs & Legal Compliance

  • To keep everyone safe and to ensure compliance with UK legislation, we ask that any dogs covered under the Dangerous Dogs Act or breed‑specific legislation follow the requirements below:

    • be registered on the Index of Exempted Dogs

    • be neutered, microchipped and insured

    • be kept on a lead and muzzled when entering and exiting the field and in public spaces (includes the car park)

    • be under control at all times

    • once inside the field the gate must be locked behind you; at this point the dog does not need to be muzzled or on a lead unless the owner deems it necessary

    • on entry and exit from the field, please be considerate to other users and ensure your dog is kept away from others

    • do not share your slot with others outside of your household

  • Owners must ensure that any dog with a history of aggression, biting, or causing injury is always handled safely and responsibly.

  • Atlantic View Farm Dog Walking Field reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate a session if a dog is deemed unsafe, out of control, or poses a risk to people, other dogs, livestock, or property.

  • Any incidents involving aggression must be reported immediately.

Acceptance of Terms

  • By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

  • Atlantic View Farm Dog Walking Field can cancel or refuse a booking at any time if these terms and conditions are not adhered to.
